Echinacea
With a long history in Native American medicine, Echinacea is one of the most popular natural products in use today. While many people use it as a way to ward off winter colds, it has many other uses.
Commonly called "purple coneflower", Echinacea is related to the sunflower. It works as a stimulant that boosts the whole immune system, and has been used to treat a variety of infections including chronic vaginal yeast, acne, boils and difficult skin conditions, and infections. It is also frequently used as a blood purifier.
