Good nutrition is essential no matter what your fitness goals. Whether you want to lose fat or add muscle, good nutrition is the key. The trouble is, many people aren't clear exactly what good nutrition means. We are so inundated with information, advertising, biased opinions, that it's hard to sort fact from fiction.
The simplest way is to ignore the fads and fancy diets and stick with a diet based on low fat meat and fish, fresh fruit and vegetables, and whole grain carbohydrates. Add in a good multi-vitamin supplement and you have the bases covered no matter what workouts you do.
