Xenadrine to lose weight

A second generation natural diet supplement, Xenadrine EFX combines a range of natural ingredients, which, manufacturers claim, works as thermogenic "fat burner" that will boost your metabolic rate and thus use more calories.

In addition, the promoters claim that Xenadrine EFX will increase your energy levels, enhance mental your focus and acuity, and provide valuable antioxidant activity. So does it work?

The original formula of Xenadrine, introduced four years ago, contained ephedrine, a stimulant long associated with both weight loss and serious side effects. It has now been banned.

The new formula is thus ephedra free, working instead by providing naturally derived caffeine designed to increase the body's metabolic rate and support fat burning.

Active ingredients include

  • L-tyrosine
  • Green tea extract
  • Phenylethylamine
  • Yerba mate
  • Guarana
  • Calcium tribasic
  • Ginger root
  • Grape seed extract
The manufacturers stress that in order to get the best of their supplement, it should be used in conjunction with a well-balanced, calorie-controlled diet and exercise program - this is perhaps the key to products like this.

Expecting any weight loss supplement to be a magic pill that will peel off the weight while you go on eating whatever you want and not exercising is wishful thinking of the highest order.

However, if you are eating sensibly and exercising regularly, then a supplement such as this may increase your chances of losing weight.
