Sugar free food

When going on this diet, sugar free food will largely replace what you used to eat. Luckily, there are many varieties of sugar free food out on the market today.

When in the grocery store, look for options like candy, syrups, soda, chocolate and yogurts that have all been made with replacement products such as Splenda. These will be safe to eat on a low carb diet and will often help you stick to the plan since they will be a great way to kill your cravings.

Furthermore, remember that all vegetables will basically be considered a sugar free food because any starches that they do contain are very slow digesting in nature and the total count is also very low. You can consume these at your leisure without having to worry that they will throw you off your diet.

If you really want to get creative, go into a specialty store that sells these types of foods and you'll often find a much wider range of selection than you would at your typical grocer. The products will likely be more expensive, however if it makes staying with the diet drastically easier for you it will well be worth the money.

And if you are ever tempted by foods that are high in refined carbohydrates, just remember the negative effects they will have on your body. You do not want to deal with the spikes and dips in energy levels that these choices create.
