Low fat recipe

If you're on a low protein diet you may be looking for a low fat recipe as well. Such a low fat recipe will depend primarily on carbohydrate foods since you will be eliminating the other two major macronutrients.

If the low fat recipe you are looking for is a main course dish, consider pasta, rice or potatoes with some type of vegetable sauce. Avoid cream based sauces however as they will not fit the plan. Regular marinara is probably your best bet, spiced up with any vegetables you desire.

If you're looking for a low fat dessert recipe, this will be quite a bit easier as there are a large variety of these out there. Any type of candy will work well since these are mostly just made of sugar. You might also want to look into the various cake mixes out there as very often then have substitution suggestions on the box that you can use to make the cake fit your nutrient needs. Finally, if it's a breakfast meal you are trying to find, any cereal will work great, spiced up with some chopped fruit. Alternatively, muffin mixes are usually fairly carbohydrate based, as are pancake mixes.

When looking around, remember that you can replace some of the butter that's called for with applesauce to help make it fit your plan better and can also use chicken or beef broth in replacement of oil when cooking stir-fries.
