High Blood Pressure

Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is associated with a number of health problems including heart diseases such as angina, stroke, or heart attack, kidney damage and damaged sight. High blood pressure can result from a number of causes such as smoking or poor diet.

Thus the best defence - or the best cure if you already suffer from hypertension - is a healthy diet and regular exercise. Base your food around lean fish and meats, fresh fruit and veg and whole grain carbs, and exercise at least three times per week to lose weight and reduce your chances of illness.
